Welcome to Room 3!

We are the wonderful Room 3.

We have made a great start to 2013 and Miss File is very proud of all our hard work so far.

We will be doing lots of exciting learning throughout the year so keep checking our blog for updates.

Whanau Fun Day

We have been learning about Manaakitanga.

Manaakitanga means that we are sharing and caring. It also means welcoming and giving.

To practice Manaakitanga we invited our parents into school to share with them a picnic.

First we welcomed them by singing songs and sharing our Pepeha.

Then we took them out, gave them lunch and showed them around our school.
We made Oreo Pops for our families.

First we crushed the biscuits.

Then we mixed the crushed biscuits with the cream cheese.

We then rolled them into balls.

We then put sticks into the balls.

Then we decorated them with chocolate and sprinkles.

Thanks to everyone for coming, we had lots of fun!
